How Do You Find Out What Your Referral Sources Think is Important?

You ask them!

If you were to find out the reality of the referral sources on a broad scale your marketing would be significantly more effective. You do this through effective surveys.

A survey is significantly more effective if done face-to-face with the referral source than if done by an outside third party, such as a marketing or consulting firm over the phone or through written surveys.

The findings determine the “buttons.”

[A “button” is the answer that is given the most number of times to your survey question – it’s what you then “push” in your subsequent promotional materials in order to get a response.]

Any PR campaign that incorporates these points will be far better than anything you can dream up that fails to consider surveyed buttons.
